Down insulator jacket/gilet in a perfect cotton and nylon blend of Japanese origin. Both easy to wear and to take care of, its organic yet sophisticated texture evokes a comfort that one should always seek to include in their wardrobe. This fabric is dyed full black, giving each garment their own unique ability to patina when worn over time. A final anti-drop formula is added for lasting water repellency. It should be noted that the Full Black dye can easily transfer when in contact with a lighter surface.
ENCASE PANEL DOWN INSULATOR: Loops with snaps and buttons system to attach the gilet under all Stone Island Shadow outer layer garments. Standing collar. Standing hand pockets with hidden zip fastening. Detachable sleeves, held on the torso through a hidden zip. Zip-fastened pocket on the left sleeve, topped by small compartments, and, on one side, a slit hosting the half hidden Stone Island Shadow Project badge. Elasticated tape at cuffs. Shaped bottom hem. Fastening: One ENCASE PANELS on the upper part, going through a central standing loop, and secured by Velcro tabs and snap on the inner flap. The bottom part is zip-fastened, with a snap on inner flap. The ENCASE PANEL bears an outer DROP POCKET slit to allow the fast insertion of personal objects, to be retrieved on the opposite side, through the zip-fastened opening. The ENCASE PANEL is also envisioned to go through the PASS-THROUGH ENCLOSURE SYSTEM, the vertical zip-fastened slit and Velcro tabs featured on the Rubberised Linen 704B3 FISHTAIL PARKA and on the Corrosion Print Corduroy 3L 402I4 HOODED JACKET to unify the two garments for easier handling.
